The presentations are available from the seminar on the human right to water in Stockholm

Within the framework of the World Water Week in Stockholm, on 9th September, there was a seminar on The added value of the Human Right to Water and the Human Rights approach to improve Water Quality organised by BothENDS, Swedish Water House (SWH), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), ACRA and UNESCO Etxea.

The seminar, the only one at the World Water Week specifically dedicated to dealing with the issue of access to water and sanitation within the human rights framework, showed the progress that has been made on this issue and debated about the added value of a human rights approach to improve access to water and sanitation in the field. Specific case studies in Ecuador, Indonesia and Tanzania were also shared.

The different presentations at this seminar are available on the World Water Weeks official website.

You can also access the Declaration of the Stockholm Week sent to the High-level Meeting on the MDG.
