UNESCO Etxea organizes with unesco an international meeting of experts on the human right to water

On 7th and 8th June a meeting was held of experts on the Human Right to Water at the UNESCO Institute for Educational Planning in Paris, organised by UNESCO Etxea and UNESCO.

The meeting of experts brought together human rights and water representatives from UNESCO, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, journalists, academics, NGOs and the independent expert on the human right to water to reflect on the state of this right and to promote collaboration on the issue.

The main contributions, valuations and recommendations from the meeting are contained in a publication co-edited by UNESCO and UNESCO Etxea which will be presented at UNESCOs next General Conference in October.
